ABOUT THE CITY

In times past were providential appearance of a ranch to rest in long stretches to be followed in the region and one of these was built to serve as a support in the middle of tough road between Casa Branca and Caconde.

It tells the story that one day someone forgot the bonfire and burned the rest ranch; the place was known as rancho sapecado(“ranch Raw Skin”). It was only in 1953 already as a municipality that Divinolândia took the current name. Divinolândia – the Divine Land.

Since soon you realize that your name is not an exaggeration. Beautiful mountains with a lot of coffee plantations and native forests.
