Caconde, distant 290 km from São Paulo City, in the northeastern part of the state, has been known as a receptive pole of tourists, coming to be considered one of the 30 most beautiful small cities in Brazil. Imbedded in the western slope of the Mantiqueira, it offers besides one of the mildest climates of the state, a rugged terrain with many forests, waterfalls, rivers, lakes and streams, that form incomparable natural beauties, fills the eyes and who knows them, fall in love.

In addition to Agriculture, Tourism has become an important source of income, with several touristic attractions: Praça da Matriz, Praça do Rosário, AquARIUM, Praça do Mirante, Usina Velha, Santa Quitéria Waterfall and Prainha (municipal park located on the banks of the Caconde Dam is an excellent meeting point for a happy hour, boat trips, jetsky, as well as an excellent starting point for a good fishery).
Caconde also counts on a respectable tourist infrastructure, having beautiful and cozy inns and excellent restaurants, which mix the regional food (Caipira) with the influences from Minas Gerais and Italy, which are very present in their dishes.
With all this attractives, Caconde has been highlighted by the diversity of its attractions, and, of course, Adventures Tourism with activities such as: Trekking, Horse Riding, Rappelling, Tyrolean, Cascading, Bóia-Cross and Rafting in Rio Pardo with rapids ranging from levels I to V and ideal flow of water throughout the year, make Caconde a reference for adventurers from all over Brazil and even from abroad.
