Campos de Lima, São José da Ventania, Formiguinha, São José das Formigas, Vila Paraíso, São José do Paraíso and finally Paraisópolis. This is the previous names of the city.

Reaching Paraisópolis, the cars and the movement of people bring a big-city air, but to talk with the locals, we realize all the calm of the “mineiro” (natives of the state of Minas Gerais) way of speaking.
